We are a For-Benefit CompanyÂ
Urban Village Designs LLC believes that companies should be putting capital back into their communities, so we founded this company as a for-benefit organization. Rather than having profit as our sole goal, our focus is first and foremost on people and planet, and intend on continuously improving our offerings to reflect this.

After our hiatus, we are now in the process of re-certificating with Benefit Corporation for Good, a third party that monitors our current processes and helps to evolve them toward greater levels of social, environmental and economic well-being.
We donate a certain percentage of our time and resources each year into organizations we believe in.

Earth Day Oregon
Earth Day Oregon 2021: Urban Village Designs donated a chicken coop to Conscious Growth and EARTH Space PDX. Along with this, we donated three chickens, supplies, along with support in building a chicken run.

Earth Day Oregon 2022: Urban Village Designs again donated our time to EARTH Space PDX and Conscious Growth, this time donating over $200 of native plants and spending many volunteer hours remodeling the site's east parking strip.

Earth Day Oregon 2023: On April 15th, 2023, UVD partnered with Green Lents and other local organizations to host this awesome afternoon of orchard stewardship with our community. Our team members joined in to weed and plant an array of pollinator friendly species that will benefit this neighborhood for years to come!

Earth Day Oregon is a collective campaign focused on amplifying the impact of Earth Day. The organization drives donations to Oregon’s nonprofit organizations that are working to advance the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals which ultimately create more resilient ecosystems, stronger, healthier communities and a more sustainable world for all.
