Sustainable Installation

Experience the difference of truly sustainable installation practices. Our methods honor both your vision and the environment, creating gardens that tell a story of responsibility from the ground up.

"We had a number of potential changes all through the process, and Drake was wonderful at getting our input and keeping us informed. It is important to us that this work be done responsibly, both with green considerations, like no gas-powered equipment, no toxic chemicals, and respect for what would work for our landscape, and human ones, as in workers being treated as partners in the process, not exploited.

The estimate seemed in line with others we had, and I'll comment that when she did have some overrun due to unforeseen circumstances, she offered to take that as a loss. We felt better paying this excellent group for their skilled work and care."

Our Earth-Friendly Installation Practices

We believe the way we install your garden should be as sustainable as the garden itself. Here's how we bring your vision to life responsibly:

Seasonal Wisdom

  • Working with Nature's Calendar: We time our installations to align with natural growing seasons, ensuring optimal plant establishment and success

  • Weather-Smart Planning: Our installation schedule adapts to weather patterns, protecting both plants and soil health

Sustainable Tools & Methods

  • Electric Equipment: We prioritize battery-powered tools over gas-powered alternatives to reduce emissions and noise pollution

  • Hand Tools: When possible, we use manual tools to minimize environmental impact and preserve soil structure

Waste Reduction

  • Local Sourcing: Our materials come from local suppliers to reduce transportation impacts and support our community

  • On-Site and Off-Site Composting: When possible, green waste becomes a resource, transformed into nutrient-rich soil amendments

  • Material Reuse: We incorporate salvaged stones, lumber, and hardscape materials to add character while reducing waste. Existing site materials are repurposed whenever possible, from mulch to hardscape elements. Even pots are returned to our nursery partners.
